Two perspectives. Separate ratings.

Employee reviews describe working at a company. Customer and partner reviews describe doing business with it. The categories remain separate. Employee ratings do not contribute to customer averages or supplier-performance scores.

What a rating means

The scale runs from 1 (Poor), through 2 (Below expectations), 3 (Meets expectations), and 4 (Very good), to 5 (Excellent). Every detailed dimension is optional. Not observed is a missing observation, not a zero.

The overall rating is selected by the reviewer. It is not computed from their detailed ratings. We show individual published reviews and the number currently displayed; we do not present an empty category as a zero score.

What verification establishes

A review becomes public after its author follows an email verification link. This confirms access to that inbox. It does not independently verify employment, purchases, qualifications, or every statement in the review.

When a reviewer edits an existing review using the same email and category, the update stays private until verified. The previously verified version remains public in the meantime.

Keep company evidence separate

Firsthand reviews are useful context. They are not audited workplace assessments or supplier certifications. Use BOMForge’s company profiles and evidence tools for supplier research, and BOMAtlas for education and regional context.
